update

    Eileen(most awesomest intern) has brought to my attention, that I've been neglecting the blog lately...This is true...my bad! I've been running around trying to finalize somethings, as well as put things in place.  It will all turn out well. I am going to be printing the pics for my portfolio later as well as putting the paperwork together inside WOOO! So hopefully soon you'll see an updated website and logo. I'm sooooo excited.

the deal...

well I know that I've been away for awhile, but I told myself I had to so make sure I got done what needed to be done. SOOOO to let you all know what I've been up to, I've been reworking my business plan. Now am I completely finished?...well no...however I have finished the most important parts. So now all I have left is a summary and my intern will look at it this Wednesday to make sure I didn't get off topic lol. I have a tendency to rant and babble on like a giant ninny...like this time when I was a church camp...hehehehe.

I went out to Chicago with the man toy to visit my old stomping ground. Yes it was only for a year and a half, but I miss it soo. I made a dress that morning (2am to be exact) to where there. It is actually kind of a sneak peek to the holiday line. It will have a bit of a different twist however. So I went to my friend Anastasia Chatzka's shop. It's amazing. I love the decor! It was sooo inspiring. She is doing so many great things right now so keep a look out for her. Then I went to Schaumburg and visited some old friends there as well.

The best part of my whole trip besides the spontaneous picnic my boyfriend at my favorite park. ugh it was sooooo great. Even though we had to eat in the car because the rain didn't let up. So after the rain stopped we took a walk in the park...hehehee. However back to the best part...on the way to Anastasia's store on Division street it was ohhhh so very windy. And since I don't really wear skirts or dresses that often I kind of forgot ohhh be careful of the gusts lol. Well lets just say next time I'm going to charge for the goodies that the CHI got to see. hehehe...my boyfriend however couldn't stop laughing and smirking to save his life. All in all though a fantastic time!

Paul(the boyfriend)and I went to the new casino today...I lost 20 bucks :*( . Paul won 90 bucks though...lucky...I pouted. I got to play with a new kitty though and that made up for it. She is sooo cute! I love the feeling of kitty paws lol...what did you do this weekend?

taking steps

Sorry I've been away. I've been trying to stay mostly chilled during my time off. It's necessary trust me! I got my stitches out Friday, and I can now put on shows to keep down my swelling and wear sandals at night to relax. I have an appointment with the Dr. on Friday so they can take a look to make sure things are going well. Anyways, Masa Yume has been going threw some changes and growths. I am building a stronger brand and trying to get my designs out the way the are meant to come across. I'm happy to know such great people that are just as creative, if not more so, that are so helpful and smart. By next year sometime Masa Yume will be a bigger brand than it is now, and finding more ways to creep happily into your yummy closets, BWAH HA HA! Enjoy the below look!

Well, I still have a bunch of fun stuff left for the week. I am going to the bridal store to see my friend try on gowns. Apparently there are a lot of weddings next year ^_^ hehehe. Sad parts of my day were when I found out my friend Soojin is hopefully moving, my toe is VERY unhappy, and the mosquito bite under my eye itches horrible. It looks like I haven't slept in days. OH well, upside my new hair do is todo hehehe. Yeah I know...Later Loves!

This is part one of the photos from the shoot that Sara and I did before I had surgery. After the doctor gives me the okay to be more mobil, I will be taking pics of the rest of the outfits. out for a bit...

well for those who do not know, I had surgery on Friday. Apparently it's unusual to grow an extra bone or two in your big toe lol. Yeah freaky. So I'm currently just not feeling well all together thanks to the medication they have me on. So When I "work" I start to just feel like crap...But! I wanted to do a quick look because I'm going to be layin low for the next couple of days. I will also be getting some new makeup since I'm SO in the mood. When I get the goods I'll show you what I got. Until then my look below:

I did this one since I'm getting to use the sexiest pair of crutches! It's comfy for when you can't carry a purse on your arm, because is keeps falling into the crutches as well as wide leg bottoms since you are wearing a huge boot. It's comfy and a neutral makeup look.ENJOY! I'll be back soon.

Hello all! The show happened last night and OMGoodness... It was sooo crazy but in a good way. I'm so happy that people were able to make it out. Thanks to all that were able to come out and support Masa Yume. Thanks also to my sponsors who were absolutely amazing. Michigan's Next Top Model for their fabulous models, Klever Design and Printing for the fabulous business cards, The Highway Press for the FANTASTICAL totes, Busog for the oh so amazing tees, and last but NOT least Vintage Prodigy. I'm so excited. People really liked the line, and after seeing it come together it was sooo nice.

Thank you to by bf as well for putting up with my crankiness. As the day came closer and closer I slept less and less. SO there will be pics from the new line to come, and I will be posting them on my etsy soon as well. But I did happen to take a few pictures of the festivities so please enjoy them. Hehehe!
